Ministering to others can be fulfilling, however; you cannot effectively minister to others without ministering to yourself first.  Often, we find ourselves asking God what we should be doing or what is our next assignment.  Well let me be the one to share with you that You are your 1st assignment and will remain that until the day of Christ’s return.  It is critical, that you stay before God daily seeking His presence, direction, and will for your life.  How do I that? You might ask?

Step 1: Seek God. Matthew 6:33 says, “See the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.” (New Living Translation)

Step 2: Trust God. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.  Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. (New Living Translation)

Step 3: Present to God:  Romans 12:1 says, “And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you.  Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable.  This is truly the way to worship him.”  (New Living Translation)
